Utricularia minor:
Growing in the muck of decaying sedges (Carex sp.) I found this nice bladderwort,
Utricularia minor.
The plants were surprisingly robust, and I had to look closely at them for a few minutes just to make sure
I could rule out U. intermedia or U. ochroleuca.
Here is another
image for your pleasure.
Incidentally, it was Beth who had learned that McGee Meadow had carnivorous plants, and she had discovered this from one
of our general guide books to the
Park! It said the meadows had both bladderworts and sundews (presumably D. rotundifolia),
but we only found Utricularia minor.
