Happy happy:
A nice photograph of Beth and Phill, crouching behind some of the plants.
This photograph illustrates something of value, beyond the fact that Phill's beard needs a good brushing. And that is that while
the Drosera ramellosa truly grows in phenomenal numbers, the population is very small at this site. Overall,
the plants were limited to an area about 100 meters long, following the pathway of a brushy
seasonal watercourse. I do not want to leave you
with the false impression that this plant occurs in horizon-choking stands.
Presumably it occurs in many other areas as well, but its abundance is certainly localized.
