Q: Field trip report: Eastern Oregon Carnivorous Plants


A: In the late summer of 2006 I journeyed to central Idaho where I saw lots of carnivorous plants (as you might have read about in the previous FAQ entry). My Idaho leg of the trip complete, I headed westward (ho!) to see yet more plant sites in Oregon. I was looking for Drosera and Utricularia in some small lakes, but then I also hoped to visit the Wallowa Mountains to look for Pinguicula!
