Wobbly Ground:
Taking this photograph of
Utricularia striata was tricky. The ground was so gooey I sank up
to my thighs in the muck. Shortly after, I took the opportunity to wade
into clear, deep water to look at free-floating aquatics like
Utricularia purpurea. This demucked me sufficiently to get into
Dave's car without too much guilt. It was, after all, not a rental.
