Making observations:
Some scientists might have lost their cool faced with such an impressive sight. Not me. With the calm, detached
precision of an emotionless Vulcan, I systematically observed what was in front of me, taking measurements of the plants,
the vegetative community, and the characteristics of the environment.
I never lost my cool, or allowed myself to become overwhelmed by the moment. Phill was so impressed by my
scientific demeanor, he photo-documented the moment here.
